Teaching Method and Techniques:
My teaching method focuses on student-centered learning, adapting to individual styles and needs. I utilize a variety of techniques, including visual aids, interactive activities, and real-life examples, to make lessons engaging and relatable. I encourage active participation and create a supportive environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and expressing their thoughts. Technology, such as educational apps and online resources, plays a key role in my teaching to enhance and modernize the learning experience.
Typical Lesson Plan:
A typical lesson begins with a brief review or engaging activity, followed by an introduction to the new topic using real-life examples and visual aids. This is followed by guided practice with example problems and concludes with independent practice, during which I provide support and feedback.
What Sets Me Apart as a Tutor:
With a background as a foreign affairs official, I bring a deep understanding of world cultures, lifestyles, and communication to my teaching. My academic qualifications, including a Master of English Language and Literature and a TESOL Certificate, reflect my dedication to education. My experience as an English teacher and lecturer allows me to cater to a diverse range of students. I blend academic rigor with practical experience, ensuring students grasp both theoretical and real-world applications.
Who the Lessons Are For:
The lessons are designed for middle school students who need support with their English language skills, including reading, writing, speaking, and listening. Whether they are struggling with basic concepts or looking to excel and deepen their understanding, my lessons are tailored to meet their specific needs and learning goals.
