About Kristina
I bring more than 30 years of teaching experience, strong content knowledge, and a genuine passion for helping students succeed. I am certified in English (6–12), Journalism (6–12), ESL Supplemental, and ELAR (4–8), giving me the versatility to work with a wide range of learners and academic needs.
My classroom style is engaging, supportive, and relationship-driven. I believe students learn best when they feel respected, encouraged, and challenged. I build strong connections with students while maintaining high expectations and a commitment to academic growth.
In addition to my experience in English language arts, I have taught journalism, drama, creative writing, film studies, and other subjects that allow students to develop critical thinking, creativity, and communication skills. I work hard to make learning meaningful, accessible, and enjoyable while still producing strong results.
I am highly dedicated, dependable, and student-centered. Teaching is not simply my profession; it is my calling. I invest deeply in my students’ success and strive to create a classroom environment where every student feels capable of achieving more than they thought possible.

With 30 years of teaching experience, I bring both deep content knowledge and a personal approach to tutoring. While English is my primary focus, I’ve also taught drama, journalism, and creative writing, giving students a well-rounded understanding of communication and expression.
I believe students learn best when they feel comfortable, supported, and genuinely connected to their teacher. I work hard to build strong relationships with my students while creating a learning environment that is lighthearted, encouraging, and engaging.
My sessions are fun and relaxed, but we absolutely get the work done. Whether a student needs help improving grades, building confidence, preparing for exams, or becoming a stronger writer, I tailor my teaching to meet their individual needs and learning style.
