About Rheena Carissa
I am Teacher Carissa, originally from the Philippines and currently pursuing a Master’s degree in Teaching and Learning in the beautiful land of New Zealand. I am eager to teach because I strongly believe that learning is unending. Every time we gain new knowledge and develop our skills, we grow not only in competence but also in integrity, wisdom, and intellect. Teaching allows me to be part of that growth both in my students and in myself. I believe education shapes character as much as it shapes the mind. In a rapidly changing modern world, learners need more than academic knowledge; they need values, critical thinking, and confidence. My goal as a teacher is to help nurture individuals who are thoughtful, capable, and compassionate people who can contribute to a progressive and harmonious society. Teaching, for me, is not just a profession but a calling to inspire lifelong learning and meaningful change.
