About Lauren
I have been teaching art -painting and drawing for over 20 years and have my MFA. I also teach fashion design as I worked in NYC garment center for years. I have had hundreds of students over the years groups as large as 22, as well as, private lessons. I have found students jobs, internships, won awards, gotten into ivy league colleges - I consider this a nice list of achievements for both of us!

I am an older art teacher with years of experience in Fashion Design, drawing and later painting after I got my MFA. I teach fashion design to groups and give private lessons as well as I worked in NYC garment center for years. I work with the individual on their level and proceed step by step unless it's a larger class. I want to customize private classes since it's the student who needs to express their voice and not me - I'm just the guide. I am fun and love art- the energy and spirit it gives to others is incomparable and love sharing that with others. I love seeing a student make progress!
