About Kendall
Kendall lives on Lake Texoma on the border of Texas and Oklahoma in the U.S.A. She loves to discuss a variety of topics, including current events in other countries. Kendall currently writes for a large online publication serving the many lakes of Texas and the USA. She loves to cook and has studied cuisines from around the world. Kendall paints, loves music, and is eager to learn about cultures around the world. Whether a student would like structured lessons or to practice speaking and pronunciation while learning new vocabulary or bring their own lesson plans, Kendall is able to accommodate them, all while having fun!

I assess each student’s speaking level, goals, and interests to create a customized lesson plan. With 30 years as a historical journalist, I provide engaging, topic-driven instruction. My lessons cater to intermediate and advanced level English speakers. I am not trained to teach children. My journalism research meshes history measured by culture and politics, so I can cover almost any subject except space and medicine. Learning is more effective if students have fun while moving up the ladder to learn English, dedicate certain amounts of time per week with tutors, plus study time on their own, and adhere to a learning schedule spanning five days a week.
