About Robby
I received my Bachelor's Degree in Theatre from Belmont University where I graduated Magna Cum Laude. I then went onto receive my Master's Degree at the University of Houston. I also work as a Professional Actor across the country and teach acting classes and other Theatre course.

My teaching methods are derived from a practical approach that is informed by history. When it comes to English, Literature, and Play Analysis we are focused on telling stories and we want to know why the writers chose to tell this story.
A typical lesson starts with getting a baseline of the student's understanding of the text. Then we disect the story for the facts, once we know what happens then we move on to the why. Why write the story like this? Why include these writing elements? Why is it important that we know what color the sky was?
What sets me apart from other tutors is looking at the story as a puzzle that we know the answer, but not the question. We know what happens, but why did it all happen that way? When we know the why, the answer becomes obvious.
These lessons are for English Students from Middle School to Highschool and Play Analysis for Undergraduate.
