About Jenny
I have worked in a public school setting for 15 years. I started as a paraprofessional for students learning a second language. I quickly fell in love with the work and returned to school to obtain my Bachelor’s in Early Childhood Education and Master’s in Elementary Education. I have taught second grade one year, first grade five years, and am currently in year four of teaching traditional kindergarten. All in the same district. To say I love my job is an understatement. I live for the “lightbulb” moments of learning. I enjoy building connections with students and their families. I am a true believer that one cannot learn if they do not first feel safe and cared for. I am also a firm believer in teaching to each individual learner. We all learn differently and it is my job and pleasure to teach to their strengths.

I am a fun-loving educator. I enjoy teaching as much as I enjoy learning! I believe all students are capable of learning and it is my job to find the best way to teach the individual! I believe in teaching the whole child, starting with basics and building a rapport. From there all changes can be achieved.
