About Ola
I’m a Master’s graduate and am looking to enhance my teaching skills. In a classroom, a one-size-fits-all approach may often be the easiest way to teach multiple students. As a tutor, I enjoy teaching because I understand that certain students thrive when they are taught in a way that addresses their own personal learning needs.

My first lesson usually involves gauging the student’s abilities in the subject and quickly trying to understand which methods of learning work best for them, through some exercises. By the end of the first lesson, we discuss any timelines/deadlines they may be working towards. Should they choose to continue with me, I send a personalised syllabus before the next lesson. We then work towards the student’s goals, according to the syllabus, with “checkpoints” to measure progress.
