I’m a Los Angeles native who grew up in a family of educators, instilling in me a deep appreciate for learning and exploration. My passion for politics and adventure has led me to many cities around the world, including London, Hong Kong, Anchorage, and Florence. Now, I am based in Tangier and enjoying all that Morocco has to offer.

Hello! My name is Isabel and I am a dedicated tutor with over 8 years of experience in tutoring and a background in history, law, and politics. I enjoy working with students of all ages and possess experience in tutoring one-on-one and with larger groups on building English literacy and writing skills (essays, creative writing, and other academic writing). Given my academic background, I also have expertise in teaching history and politics, and am adaptable to specific topics in those subjects.
In terms of learning style, here’s what I can offer your student:
* Interactive learning strategies - The best learning happens when students are excited about the learning process. With experience working with children diagnosed with ADHD, I understand how to create an engaging learning environment.
* Tailored lesson plans - Each student has specific needs and interests that works best for them. Let’s find out what works for your student!
* Regular feedback and goal setting - Structure is essential for students to understand the bigger picture of their learning goals and to feel motivated in working towards them.
My goal is to build confidence and help students achieve their academic goals through an engaging and effective learning experience. Lessons can be designed to last 30-60 minutes depending on student needs.
