About Jack

Hey! I'm Jack, a Masters graduate in Computer Science from University of Southern California. I am a Columbus native and received my Bachelors at The Ohio State University in CS and Math. Over the last 5 years at OSU and USC, I've cultivated a strong teaching background in math and CS including courses in Algebra, Trigonometry, Pre-calc, Basic Programming, Theory and Algorithms, and more.

Most recently, I served as the head TA for the Algorithms course sequence at USC for three semesters. I'm deeply invested in the educational progress of students, whether they're novices or advanced learners. My primary goal is to provide guidance that's both clear and effective, ensuring a productive learning experience for each student. Let's get started!

About the lesson

Teaching Approach: I believe in a balanced method, combining structured lessons with real-world examples to ensure concepts are both understood and applicable. Each session usually begins with reviewing what we previously covered, then moving on to new topics, and ending with exercises to reinforce learning.

What Sets Me Apart: I consistently adapt my techniques based on the needs of my students and the evolving fields of math and computer science. My focus is to simplify challenging concepts, ensuring each student feels confident and informed.

Target Audience: While I have a strong background in assisting college students, my teaching style is versatile, catering to anyone from high school students to those in more advanced university courses. If you're eager to learn and understand, I'm here to help!
