About Kristin
With 10 years of experience working as a Physical Therapist, I have functional knowledge of the body and the natural sciences. I have homeschooled my seven children for the past 12 years, and this has given me significant experience in tailoring lessons to each child based on his/her needs. I have several years of experience teaching elementary, middle school, and high school sciences at local co-ops.

Lessons with me will be engaging - we won’t just hang out in a textbook— there’s a whole world out there! I’ll encourage students to learn via hands-on, current events, history, and real-life application. Mathematics and the sciences do not need to be overwhelming. We will get creative to explore the concepts and make sure each student has a firm grasp of the information. My goal is always to utilize multiple ways to allow students to personally connect with what is being taught - to lean more towards discussion than memorization of facts.
