About Kristin
I am 44 years old and have experience working with individuals ranging 18 months to 25 years in age. I work in mental health, specializing in ASD and ADHD, so you can count on me to help increase students' motivation, cooperation and focus in my lessons while practicing patience and compassionate communication. I want learning to be fun and engaging so I incorporate a lot of humor and reinforcement into my lessons, and I am a big fan of using behavior specific praise and positive language in critiques. My teaching style is also designed to encourage independence using prompting and prompt fading as my students' skills enhance and novel information is retained, resulting in a reduced need for assistance in the future. Now, let's get those grades up and boost that confidence for those writing related tasks!
