About Dolores
I am a Teacher with 10+ yrs. experience in English and Social Science, I have a BA in Psychology and Social Work and a Masters in Secondary Education, and 32 post-graduate hours. My students have increased state test scores, improved their writing skills, my younger students have learned to read and improved their spelling through phonics. I am also a former Home School teacher and I am LBS1 certified.

My methodology is scaffolding, starting out basic and building up to mastery. Acknowledging different learning styles is important and differentiation is key. I believe helping students understand how they learn and how the brain works regarding their learning, helps provide understanding and empowerment to students.
