About Caity
I am a 25-year-old Masters of Teaching student at the University of Melbourne, with a Bachelor degree (with honors) in Literature. I have been tutoring for 8 years and am deeply passionate about the humanities and education, and have a genuine love for teaching and helping students achieve their goals.

Working alongside the student to support their learning, build their confidence, and work towards their goals is at the heart of my teaching methodology. Most sessions run for an hour, within each session we work through a lesson plan tailored to the student's needs, goals, and ability. Having tutored students in history, English, and literature for the past eight years I understand the unique challenges that humanities subjects can pose. From essay writing, to deep reading, analysis, and historical interpretation. I have worked alongside many VCE and high school students to help develop these essential skills. Currently I only tutor high school and VCE students!
