About Danna

For almost 20 years I have taught and tutored over various disciplines math (algebra 1 and 2, Geometry, Math Intervention, Math enrichment, Pre Calculus and Standardized Test Prep), chess and reading from grade levels TK - 12th and adult learners. I am currently a Special Education Teacher in an Elementary School where I focus on 3rd Grade Reading and Math.

About the lesson

I am and have always been the teacher who makes math feel like a native tongue instead of a foreign language.

I am equally interested in how my students learn, what they learn and that they learn and move toward mastery of the subjects and curriculum it is my opportunity to deliver.

As a teacher I take my students’ learning personally. Academics should prepare our students for life, as well as, their educational goals and milestones.

As teachers and tutors our work is to equip students for the future no matter what the future looks like. That is my mission when I sit down with any student at any stage or level of their mind’s development.
