My teaching approach is to make math fun, interactive, and understandable for students, by breaking down complex concepts into simpler and manageable steps. I also believe in personalized attention and creating a positive learning environment for each student. What sets me apart is my ability to adapt to different learning styles and my patient and encouraging approach towards students."
Here is a sample lesson plan for a 6th grade math class:

Objective: To learn about ratios and proportions

Materials: Whiteboard, markers, worksheets

Introduction (10 minutes):

Review prior knowledge of fractions and equivalent fractions.
Introduce the concept of ratios and proportions and give real-life examples to help students understand the importance of the topic.
Direct Instruction (15 minutes):

Write a ratio in fraction form and explain how to simplify a ratio.
Discuss how ratios can be written as fractions or as a colon (:) separating two numbers.
Demonstrate how to use cross-multiplication to solve a proportion.
Guided Practice (15 minutes):

Give students worksheets with ratio and proportion problems.
Circulate the room and assist students with any difficulties they may have.
Encourage students to work in pairs and share their answers.
Independent Practice (15 minutes):
