My Approach as a Math Tutor

I keep my tutoring simple, patient, and real. I’m not here to just throw steps at you and hope it sticks, I make sure you actually understand what you’re doing. I break everything down in a way that makes sense and go at your pace so you don’t feel rushed or lost. I also make sure you’re comfortable asking questions because that’s how you actually get better.

Teaching Method and Techniques
I teach step by step and make sure you understand each part before moving on. I use examples, practice problems, and different ways of explaining things until it clicks for you. If one way doesn’t work, I switch it up. I also try to relate math to real situations when I can so it doesn’t feel so confusing.

Typical Lesson Plan
We usually start by going over anything you didn’t understand before or questions you have. Then I’ll break down the topic we’re working on and walk you through it. After that, you’ll try problems while I guide you, not just watch me do it. At the end, we do a quick recap so you leave actually knowing what’s going on.

What Sets Me Apart
I’m really patient and I don’t make you feel dumb for not understanding something. I’ll explain things as many times as needed, just in different ways until it makes sense. I focus on building your confidence, not just getting answers right, because once you feel confident, everything gets easier.
