About Nathan
I have spent the last 3 years working 1 to 1 and with small groups of secondary school students, preparing them for their Maths, English and History GCSEs. My sessions would focus on practicing exam technique, perfecting revision strategies and breaking down difficult concepts that can be confusing in class.
I have an additional 4 years of online tutoring experience working with History A Level students and I am a History graduate from the University of Leeds myself.
I have lots of experience specifically supporting students with additional educational needs. many of my lessons are tailored to those who struggle with absorbing information in a regular classroom structure.

My lessons take place online using virtual classroom software and typically last between 1 and 2 hours. I am very familiar with the syllabus of the major exam boards for Maths, English and History GCSEs and can tailor my lessons to suit each students requirements.
Lessons tend to focus on practicing exam technique and revision methods so that my students can access these skills whilst in school and during their independent learning time. I also break down specific areas of content that can be confusing in the classroom, in ways that are suited to the individuals preferred style of learning.
I find reviewing homework helpful for my students and will occasionally set them tasks myself so that we can consistently track their progress.
