About William
A great thing about studying engineering in college for me was that I got exposed to a wide type of math and science classes. This reinforces in a student's mind (like yours) that math classes are built up on top of each other in complexity. Therefore, I can help you to get good at algebra before tackling calculus and know the basics well of geometry and trig. I've helped students at every level of their scientific journey to see the inter-connections between physics equations and describing how a car moves down a track or how a planet orbits the sun. Just as one area we can peruse, I want to make it fun for you to explore space topics from a math-based point of view.

I have 3 years of experience as a middle to high school STEM teacher at a Beverly Hills high school. I was also an LAUSD in-home tutor in math and science classes. I tutored my fellow students when I was a student at Arizona. I use a personalized education plan for my students who have difficulties excelling in a traditional school setting. I'm out to help students understand concepts in which they previously had poor experiences. I want to mentor students in discovering the value of life-long learning and also in becoming a better person through continuous effort. We can meet in a library like the new and improved Glendale library or just about anywhere you think is good for you. By the way, I've worked for a space science company, tested missiles and radar, and flew on military aircraft. So I can probably handle any type of problems you have.
