About Dilpreet
I am a current medical student at the University of Auckland. I have previously done a Bachelor of Science and Honours in Psychology (first class).
I have sat the GAMSAT where I achieved a 98th percentile score in essay writing skills.
I love to write, read and sketch in my free time!

Every student has the capacity to grow and learn. I teach in a way that benefits my students and helps them grow to their capacity.
I don't like to teach students to memorise rather I like to equip them with the skills which will help them exceed their expectations in assessments.
I will provide homework (if wanted) and I will mark essays/answers prior to lessons so we can go over the content during the tutoring session.
I like to personalise my teaching so I can help that student and this starts through a diagnostic first session where I evaluate the skill sets that the student needs to be taught. From there every week we work on the skills needed until a superior level of functioning is reached!
I have tutored university students in standardised tests such as GAMSAT (which is a graduate school medical student assessment that is 9hrs long) in their essay writing skills. I have also tutored in basic essay writing, chemistry and biology skills. This profound experience has taught me the skills required for teaching and tutoring.
