About Lynsey
I am a qualified TESL Teacher with over 13 years of experience teaching English, Art and Study Skills. I have helped many students improve their speaking, reading, writing and reading skills as well as their ability to study and memorize important facts. I am very patient and enthusiastic which I believe the students can sense and this in turn makes them excited to work with me. My classroom is professional, welcoming, patient and fun. Memorization and recall techniques classes:
I teach you how to use your brain to memorize information for test and exam preparation i.e. How to study properly, how to memorize speeches without cue cards, how to remember important historical dates etc. using proven study skill techniques.
English as a second language classes:
I will be teaching the Abridge Academy Curriculum for English.
Levels from beginner to advanced.
Each class will use interactive online slides and mini games to make learning English fun!
Each class will focus on the 4 skills of listening, speaking, reading and writing in English.
The step-by-step beginners curriculum aims to provide students with a strong foundation in English.
Lessons are linked systematically to work through new vocabulary and grammar.
We will begin with learning core vocabulary and simple sentences, moving onto verb tenses and simple grammatical structures.
My classroom is very welcoming, patient, informative and most of all lots of fun!
