About Preston
I earned an MFA and have taught classes to elementary, high school, and college students. My art and my writing have been published and I've always received good reviews from my students and from my supervisors. By the end of the lessons, the student has a better grasp of the material and feels more confident in their abilities.

It depends on the subject I am teaching as to what a typical lesson plan would look like. In tutoring, I have taught in many different levels from elementary school, high school and college. My lesson plans change to the subject matter being taught but generally a typical lesson plan goes over basic elements and focuses on the particular aspect of the issue in which the student requires tutoring. Whether it is art, writing or grammar, I am patient and go over the subject matter until I am sure the student has a complete grasp of the material.
