About Crystal
I’m a dedicated educator who enjoys helping students discover that reading and writing can actually be interesting and empowering. I have several years of experience working with students in both classroom and intervention settings, and I’m passionate about helping learners build confidence in their abilities.
My background in psychology and education helps me understand how students learn and what strategies help them succeed. I enjoy creating lessons that are thoughtful, engaging, and supportive so students feel comfortable asking questions and exploring ideas.
Outside of teaching, I enjoy creative hobbies like art and photography. I believe creativity and curiosity are important parts of learning, and I love helping students develop both as they grow their skills in reading and writing.

My lessons are designed to help students build strong reading, writing, and critical thinking skills in a supportive and engaging environment. I focus on helping students understand ideas deeply rather than just memorizing answers.
