About Arleen
Violin strings hum with life under my fingers after years of rigorous training. My 13 years of experience across 67 students shapes every interaction.
I emphasize tone production and posture and hold during every early stage. Achieving spiccato and staccato bowing requires patience. I guide learners through shifting positions and vibrato with ease. Mastering scales and arpeggios builds strong intonation and ear training.

Do you find that your intonation wanders when you practice alone? I provide recorded playback of tricky passages so you can hear exactly how your sound maps to my professional standard. My teaching philosophy draws on my MMus background to keep technical drills engaging while we navigate the complexities of classical technique.
By breaking down difficult shifts into rhythmic segments, we ensure that your progress remains consistent and measurable throughout the week. It is quite rewarding to witness the precise moment when a student hears their own growth during these sessions.
