About Lorine
Ear training and music theory form the bedrock of my approach. I often recall sitting in my bedroom as a kid decoding cassette tapes by ear. Those early days taught me how to listen before I learned to play.
Now I hold a BA Modern Music to frame those instincts correctly. Electric technique and improvisation are my primary focus areas.
I spent 12 years refining my sound through live gigs and studio work. Barre chords and soloing come much easier once you understand the internal map of the fretboard. Reading tabs is just the starting point for true musical freedom. You get a teacher who understands both the theory and the raw grit of playing.

A 7.0 free trial session serves as the entry point to assess your current ability. That assessment allows me to map out your specific trajectory immediately.
We spend our first hour identifying exactly what you want to achieve on your instrument. It is important to find the right dynamic early on.
Sound design and pedal chains usually dominate the conversation during our time together. My 5 years of experience ensures we avoid unnecessary fluff while building your technique.
We integrate theory into practical playing so you see results fast. This approach works for anyone wanting to emulate shoegaze legends or write original material. Your progress is the only metric that matters here.
