About Sheri
Hi there! My name is Sheri, and I hold a Bachelor's degree in elementary education. My main goal as a tutor is to create a comfortable, stress-free space where you can practice reading and spelling naturally.
In our lessons, we can choose a book that is at your level of ability and read it together. I am very patient and speak at a natural, easy-to-understand pace. When you have questions during the lesson, I am happy to help you with anything you need. I look forward to chatting with you!

-typical lesson includes either the student or myself reading through a level appropriate book, and talking through comprehension. We pick spelling words together that match what the student is working on, and practice them together
-I am silly and fun. My lessons are simple and feel more like hanging out than a boring lesson in a classroom.
- I teach all levels, but i prefer younger students (such as kindergarten and elementary age)
