I have over five years of experience working with youth, whether that be in babysitting, mentorship, or informal peer support settings. I also am an outspoken Autistic advocate who has worked with neurodiverse youth and loves to help students recognize, accommodate, and celebrate their brain's unique differences. My name is Ali Burris! I'm an English and French major at Seattle University and I love to read and write! I've always been the resident proofreader for friends and family and love helping people turn their unique ideas and voice into a polished, persuasive essay. We can start by discussing the prompt or goal of the project, then progress to brainstorming your ideas, then work together on generating a compelling argument or illustrative narrative. I especially excel at college admissions/scholarship essays, and want to help spotlight your distinctive talents. I'm also available for any and all writing assignments and literature tutoring!
