About Nawaal
I hold a BA ('23) and an MA ('25) in English from McGill University. Alongside my tenure as a teaching assistant, in which I created lesson plans, taught, and graded various humanities subjects, I also founded and ran a Creative Writing Workshop, and performed one-on-one tutoring on the side as a freelancer. I have experience teaching a range of topics for all age groups, including creative writing, grammar/syntax for beginners and advanced ESL learners, reading, academic writing, homework help, and specialized literary studies (classic/modernist/contemporary). I teach adults and children alike, either one-on-one or in small groups, to ensure adequate depth and attention.
