About Ashleigh
I graduated from Downing College, Cambridge in 2018 with a degree in English and the Judy C Petty Prize for artistic achievement. During my time at Cambridge, I was heavily involved in the student theatre scene which led to my being elected as Vice-President of the Footlights in my final year. Aside from my comedy, I was also a member of the original student cast of SiX.
I then went on to train at Mountview academy of Performing Arts and graduated with a distinction in 2020. Since then, I have been working as a professional actor appearing in a number of original musicals including 'Gatsby' at the Southwark Playhouse, 'Now. Here. This.' at the Chiswick Playhouse and Dr Who Time Fracture on London'd West End.
I have been a career tutor in a range of subjects for the past 5 years. I look forward to meeting you!

Having achieved a distinction in Performing Arts at Mountview, as well as having worked as a professional actor on London's West End, I can offer tuition in audition-technique and drama/acting skills for a range of needs including drama school auditions, GCSE and A-Level theatre studies and NYT.
I am incredibly proud to say that many of my previous students have variously gone on to gain places at Mountview, ArtsEd and LAMDA, and win representation from some truly excellent agents.
I have furthermore coached students through LAMDA exams in Public Speaking, Reading for Performance, Speaking Verse and Prose, Classical and Contemporary Acting, with a 100% pass rate and 93% of my students achieving distinction.
Depending on your goals and experience, we will focus on a range of vocal and physical technique drawing from the work of the likes of Barbara Houseman and Patsy Rodenburg. I can help you choose texts and develop skills in finding motivation and appropriate and exciting actions for your character.
I strongly believe that all acting should be approached with a sense of play, something I try to prioritise in our classes. We will seek to unlock your potential and free your unique voice and interpretation of a character.
