About Roanna
Hi, I’m Roanna, a professional actor and acting coach, and a graduate of the BA (Hons) Acting course at Mountview Academy of Theatre Arts. I’ve been working in the industry since 2014, developing my craft through a range of professional experiences.
I’m passionate about acting and the process of helping others grow in confidence and skill. I bring a calm, focused and encouraging energy to my work and I care deeply about creating a space where people feel supported and able to take creative risks.
Alongside my training, my professional experience has given me a strong understanding of the realities of the industry, from auditions to performance. I’m committed, reliable, and take pride in maintaining a high level of professionalism in every session I offer.
I enjoy working with a wide range of people, from complete beginners to experienced performers and I approach each student with openness, patience and respect for their individual goals.

My approach to teaching is supportive, practical and tailored to each individual. I focus on helping you feel grounded, confident, and truthful in your work, whether you’re completely new to acting or already experienced. I draw on a range of techniques including text analysis, emotional connection and physical awareness, always adapting sessions to what works best for you. I’m particularly passionate about helping actors develop authenticity and ease, rather than overthinking or “performing.”
Lessons are typically 60 minutes long and take place online, making them flexible and accessible wherever you’re based. In our sessions, we might work on monologues, audition preparation, scripts or general confidence and performance skills. I aim to create a safe, encouraging space where you can take risks, explore and grow.
Alongside my training, I’ve been working professionally as an actor since 2014, which means I can offer real insight into the industry and the realities of auditions and performance. I also have experience supporting students with drama school preparation and building confidence for public speaking or presentations.
My lessons are open to all levels — from complete beginners to more experienced actors — as well as anyone looking to build confidence, creativity, or communication skills.
