About Carol
"Stiff fingers feel like lead weights when you try to nail those intricate fingerpicking patterns for the first time. The sound of a perfectly resonant flamenco chord ringing out in a quiet room is the goal we seek.
I incorporate my BA Music degree into every session to explain the theory behind those tricky chord transitions and blues progressions. We focus heavily on songwriting, reading sheet music, and preparing for high-level grade exams. Throughout my 13 years of teaching, I have found that structured soloing work is the best way to keep students engaged. A free trial session is available to assess your current starting level before we commit to a plan."
