About David
I am a graduate of the University of Birmingham (First Class Honours), studying for a masters in Music Technology at the Royal Birmingham Conservatoire. I have played guitar for over 10 years achieving grade 8 guitar 8 years ago. I have lots of experience teaching guitar at all levels as well as all ages.
I achieved four A* grades at A level (Mathematics, Music, Music Technology and Graphic Design) from King Edward VI College Stourbridge, as well as a First Class Honours degree from the University of Birmingham, being the highest achieving student in both of my composition modules as well as the film music module.

My teaching methodology focuses on discipline whilst keeping lessons fun and enjoyable, placing primary emphasis on what the student ultimately wants to learn. A mixture of music theory and technique are important.
