About Sarah
I offer years of experience practising as a professional musician and as a music teacher, who is very passionate about working with children and individuals of any age.
I have hands-on experience teaching music through working at Sound- Steps Music School, which involved conducting classes of up to 10 children. Alongside this, I also have freelance experience tutoring children and adults one-to-one.
Overall, I have experience teaching in a wide array of contexts, which has solidified my knowledge and approach to teaching.

Ultimately, learning music should be fun!
I aspire to make every music lesson a positive experience.
I tend to follow the ABRSM guide to learning which includes music theory, practical and aural. However, I am opening to teaching music as a hobby.
About me: I have a degree in music from goldsmiths university and hold grade 8 distinctions in Piano and Violin.
I have previous teaching experience - I taught keyboard to groups of 10 children in a private school.
I enjoy teaching individuals from ages 6-17.
