About Elin

I am an 18 year old musician that has played violin, viola and piano. I am part of the National Youth Orchestra of Great Britain and have experience in teaching beginner violin/viola and teaching up to grade 5 music theory.

About the lesson

My teaching method changes depending on the individual as I believe everyone learns best slightly differently. However, I usually approach viola teaching by seeing what standard the student is and then working collaboratively by advising and helping the student work through the problems with my help. I approach theory teaching in a similar way but I also have some helpful analogies to make the learning process easier.
