About Daniel
Hi there!
My name is Daniel Gavris and I can proudly say that I am a self-motivated and progress-driven professional actor, director and tutor, with an extensive background in this industry and with a long-standing record of initiative and innovation.
I define myself through creativity, humour, patience, responsibility and above all, through professionalism and punctuality. I always like to say that the best motivation is and remains your own will and knowledge to pursue a career. And this can only be achieved with a healthy dose of nerve, spontaneity, empathy, wit and fanaticism at work.
As for me, my experience and my work, I can proudly say that I had the first contact with this field in primary school at the age of 11 and the first pedagogical activity was a couple of years later when I decided to ground an association of this kind named, Theatre and Art-Club named ''Arttis'' in my homeland. An Art-Club that organized workshops, plays for volunteering and theatre festivals and competitions between young artists. After that, I decided to let the Club grow alone and I moved to Vienna to sharpen my knowledge in this fine crafts of teaching, acting and directing and graduated the university Degree and then a Master´s Degree from V.I.D.C (Vienna International Drama Center) - Acting School Pygmalion.
As an actor, director and tutor, I was active for 6 hard years and, as you know, you have to deliver a high quality of performance, having a lot of responsibilities from the very beginning, building a role, being punctual, improvising and applying the knowledge accumulated so far. Skills and abilities that helped me design, create and direct over 30 different drama characters and roles and with which we have had a lot of tournaments in different European countries.
My first teaching experience, as I said, lasted 3 years and it was at the Theatre and Art-Club ''Arttis'', where I was responsible with teaching, directing and training in workshops.
After that, I was studying acting, directing and teaching, for 6 years in Vienna and at the same time, I was teaching and tutoring, 3 years long, a wide variety of students, people and beginners, who wanted to apply to Drama Schools or Universities, also young professional actors for improvements in their performance or for auditions and castings and the same with children and, little scholars.
The pedagogical teaching can be possible in three languages, like German, Romanian and English language.
