About Jonathan
I am Jonathan Pete, a Spanish tutor with native fluency and classroom teaching experience. My lessons are patient, structured, and built around your current proficiency level. You will receive a short vocabulary list with pronunciation notes after each session. I am encouraging, organized, and genuinely excited when you form your first full sentence. Your fluency and confidence in Spanish drive my teaching.

I listen for accent accuracy and common grammar errors during a short introductory conversation first. A typical lesson includes vocabulary flashcard review, verb conjugation drills with examples, guided sentence building, pronunciation repetition, listening comprehension with short audio clips, and a written exit task. My specialty is helping students gain confidence speaking without translating word-for-word. My students include 2nd through 10th graders, middle school beginners, high school students preparing for exams, and adults planning travel or work in Spanish-speaking countries.
