About Penelope
Hello! My name is Penelope, and I am a straight-A high school senior with a 4.3 GPA, a member of the National Honor Society, and a third-year Student Trustee. I have completed college-level Rhetoric coursework through the University of Texas and have also taken several other college-level courses that required extensive essay writing. I am passionate about helping students succeed academically and create a positive and supportive learning environment where students can build confidence, strengthen their skills, and reach their goals. With previous experience working with children, I connect well with younger learners and tailor each lesson to meet their individual needs and learning styles.

I tailor each lesson to the student’s learning style, focusing on building confidence, understanding concepts, and developing independent study skills. A typical lesson includes reviewing material, practicing skills together, and working through questions step-by-step. As a National Honor Society senior, third-year Trustee, and student who completed Rhetoric through the University of Texas, I bring strong communication and academic skills. I also work especially well with younger students due to my previous experience working with children. Lessons are ideal for elementary, middle, and early high school students seeking support in English, writing, reading, study skills, and academic success.
