About Anjola

Hi, I’m Anjola! — a National Newspaper Journalist Apprentice in London, currently working towards becoming a Gold Standard Journalist. I achieved A in both GCSE and A Level English*, and I love helping students find their confidence in writing — from essays and articles to creative storytelling. I also have experience in film and media, which has deepened my appreciation for powerful storytelling and clear communication. As the middle child, I’ve learned the art of patience and listening — qualities I bring to every lesson. I know how tough studying can get; I’ve been through the long nights and stressful deadlines myself. My goal is to make learning feel lighter, more structured, and even enjoyable. When I’m not tutoring or writing, I’m usually watching films, listening to music, or analysing dialogue like it’s an English essay. We’ll make studying so enjoyable, you might just forget it’s work (almost)

Focus on developing writing voice and precision, helping students write with impact and purpose. Provide clear feedback and editing support for essays, articles, and coursework. Encourage independent thinking through guided questioning and example analysis.
