About Spencer

Hi, I'm Spencer! I'm a Fordham Law student and an Emory grad (3.94 GPA), and honestly, I tutor because I love it. I'm a National AP Scholar, an Emory Honor Council member, a Franklin Fellow, and the former Editor-in-Chief of the Emory Wheel college newspaper, where I published 154 articles — so I know exactly what it's like to juggle a heavy workload and high-stakes exams. My sessions are patient, upbeat, and built around you: we break the hard stuff into clear, doable steps and keep things friendly and focused. Whether you're chasing a dream score or just want to walk into test day feeling confident, I'm in your corner.

Does SAT Reading & Writing feel like a race against the clock? Tricky passages, picky grammar questions, and all that score pressure — it's genuinely stressful. The good news: this test is learnable, and you don't have to figure it out alone.

I'm Spencer, a Fordham Law student, Emory grad (3.94 GPA), and National AP Scholar. As the former Editor-in-Chief of the Emory Wheel with 154 published articles, I bring real writing expertise to every session — plus a patient, structured approach built around you.

We'll start with a clear picture of where you are, then target real score improvement through diagnostic practice, passage strategies, and grammar drills tailored to your weaknesses. No boring lectures — just focused, encouraging sessions that build skills and confidence.

All sessions are private, one-on-one — just you and me.

Lessons are online or in person in Manhattan, NYC. Available Monday-Thursday 5-9pm ET and all day Saturday and Sunday. Message me through Superprof — let's hit your target score!
