About Zoia
I am a rising high school junior, and I have had a passion for languages since I was young. As I traveled to many different countries, I realized I love learning, which led me to becoming a tutor. I currently volunteer for Learn To Be, where I teach multiple students English and Creative Writing. I am fluent in Russian, Ukrainian, and English and am studying Spanish and Korean. I reached fluency in English by just speaking it, which is why I am a firm believer in communication-based learning. My lessons focus on real conversations, pronunciation, vocabulary, grammar, and everyday words that you can use in real life. My goal is to help you become a more confident and independent language learner while making each lesson engaging and enjoyable. Thank you for considering me as your tutor. Hello! I'm a multilingual tutor fluent in English, Russian, and Ukrainian, and I love helping students build confidence in a supportive, encouraging environment.
My teaching approach is practical and interactive. A typical lesson includes a quick review of previous material, learning new vocabulary or grammar in context, guided speaking practice, pronunciation coaching, and fun activities to help you remember what you've learned. You'll also receive personalized feedback and optional practice to continue improving between lessons.
My lessons are ideal for beginners and lower-intermediate learners, including children, teens, and adults who want to improve their speaking, pronunciation, vocabulary, grammar, or conversational skills. Whether you're learning for school, travel, work, or personal growth, I'll create lessons that match your needs.

Zoia is an incredible tutor who was able to offer humor and daily conversations into her classes, making me forget I was even learning.
