About Corona
I’m originally from Saint Lucia, a beautiful island in the Eastern Caribbean, but I spent most of my life in New York City — so I definitely consider myself a New Yorker.
In 2013, I moved to Thailand, where my teaching journey truly began. I worked with primary, vocational, and university students, and even trained new English teachers on how to teach kindergarten. I currently live in Albania.
Having tried to learn four languages myself, I understand how challenging — and sometimes frustrating — it can be. That experience helps me connect with my students in a patient and supportive way.
Outside of teaching, I love traveling, discovering new cultures, and meeting people from different backgrounds. I’m both outdoorsy and indoorsy — I enjoy tennis, photography, cycling, writing, music, and cooking.

My approach is student-centered and personalized. I use the test–teach–test method in my lesson planning. Lessons are conversation-focused, around your interests, while also developing pronunciation, vocabulary, grammar, listening, and thinking in English. I provide timely correction and feedback so you can notice mistakes, improve efficiently, and build confidence without feeling interrupted or overwhelmed.
I’ve taught learners from kindergarten to university level and have also trained new English teachers, which gives me a broad understanding of different learning styles and needs. My lessons are ideal for students from Beginner (A1/A2) to Upper-Intermediate (B2) who want to strengthen their overall fluency or refine specific skills. What sets me apart is my balance of structure and warmth — I create a supportive space where you feel comfortable speaking, challenged to grow, and confident using English in real-life situations.

The first 30-minute lesson is a simple “Level Assessment". I’ll listen to your vocabulary and pronunciation to help determine your level. This session lets us find the right materials and teaching style that work best for you before we start regular lessons.
