Hello! I’m a Chicago native with Polish roots, and after living in Poland for ten years, I understand firsthand what it’s like to learn and thrive in a second language. With a background as a Creative Lead and UX Designer for Fortune 500 companies, I bring a unique, design-thinking approach to teaching English—one that's intuitive, relaxed, and conversational, much like chatting with a colleague over coffee. My lessons typically start with a short, engaging discussion based on real-world topics—film, art, current events, or music—tailored to your interests and goals. We’ll use humor, creativity, and real dialogue to build fluency and confidence naturally. I don’t rely on rigid textbooks or dry grammar drills. Instead, I create a space where you feel at ease, inspired, and genuinely excited to speak. Whether you’re aiming to improve business English or just want to feel more confident in everyday conversation, my method adapts to you— For 20+ years, I've been fortunate to communicate with multicultural individuals and teams as a UX Designer and Creative Lead working around the world—from Chicago and Los Angeles, through Europe to Africa—I bring a real-world, global perspective to every lesson. I've collaborated with teams from Intel, MTV EMEA, American Express International, lived abroad for over a decade (mainly in Poland), and growing up in a Polish family, I speak conversational Polish, and I understand the challenges and excitement of learning a new language. Born on Chicago’s South Side, with all other family members from Poland, I combine creativity, empathy, and clear communication to help students build confidence, fluency, and real-world skills.
