> Habari! My name is Jomostian Gacau, a native Swahili speaker from Kiambu, Kenya. I grew up speaking Swahili at home, in school and in the market, so I know real Kenyan Swahili, not just textbook Swahili. I love languages and I love helping people. I started teaching friends from Europe and America online and they loved how simple I make it. I want to teach because I want to share our beautiful culture and help you connect with East Africa. About the lesson

> I teach Swahili the way we actually speak it in Kenya. My lessons are 100% conversational and very friendly. We will speak from minute one, not just write grammar. I will teach you real Kenyan Swahili, Sheng from Nairobi, and culture so you can talk to locals, bargain, make jokes, and not sound like a textbook. I use simple examples, stories, music and role-plays. I am patient and I adjust to your speed. Whether you are a total beginner or you want to improve, you will see progress fast. First lesson we check your level and set your goals.
