About Anna

- What kind of experience do you have?

I am a professionally qualified teacher of more than 18 years experience of the Russian Language and Russian Literature.

- Do you have an up-to-date DBS (Disclosure & Barring Service, formerly CRB) Certificate?

No

- Where and with whom did you train?

Successful in obtaining high qualification Diploma of the Philologist, Lecturer of Russian Language and Literature.
I have been educated to a PhD and finished Volgograd state University.

- Do you belong to any professional organisations?

I work with the leading Russian newspaper in London and I am a member of their journalistic and teaching organisation.

- Tell me about some of your current students.

I have a comprehensive portfolio of students that is made up of children, young teenagers, and adults.
I have a varied level of teaching throughout and also work with many corporate clients to assist with advanced levels of Russian for business.
I also work with groups on specialised courses for both young and adult students. And preparation of GCSE and A-level examinations.

About the lesson

I would be delighted to give lessons to determined learners, who are keen to develop their knowledge from elementary to higher advanced level.

I teach Russian Language and Russian Literature.

I have been educated to a PhD in Russian Language.

- How much do you charge?

£50.00 per hour on Teams and £60.00 per hour in person.

- Where do you teach?

At my home/office or I can travel to student homes/office.

- When are you available?

Any day of the week by prior arrangement.

- Which ages and levels do you teach?

I teach all ages, to include children 4 y.o.+, young students and adults of all standards and levels. I am also the author of the course book Get Ready for GCSE Russian, which is available on Amazon and eBay. This resource has supported many students in preparing effectively for their GCSE Russian examinations.

- Describe your arrangements for online tutoring.

I have all the necessary books and literature that can be emailed to any student.

- Do you have a personal message for students?

With over 18 years of teaching experience, I have developed a deep understanding of students of all ages, their learning styles, and individual needs. I am kind, attentive, and patient, always adapting my lessons to each student’s ability and level. In addition to language learning, I also have extensive experience in Russian literature and work with adult students who are particularly interested in exploring this subject.
