About Tamilla

I am a concert violinist with many other talents, including piano and languages. I speak Russian fluently, as it is my mother's tongue and I received my education in Russian, including my degree. I have Bachelor degree in Music and PGCE from a UK university. I teach GCSE Russian and anything from beginners through A level to University.

About the lesson

My belief is that you cannot build a house without foundations. Strong knowledge of basics is the main priority with a sound understanding of grammar, as Russian language is grammatically challenging, I believe in full control over the main pillars of this language: understanding of cases, gender, verbs and so on

Tamilla has been tutoring my daughter Lucy in Russian for 3 years. Over that time Lucy has made impressive progress and is now well set for her Russian GCSE. Tamilla has been an excellent teacher and has been wonderfully supportive to Lucy in many ways. I would not hesitate in recommending Tamilla as a tutor.
