About Robin
Ever since I can remember, I've enjoyed teaching anything and everything! I have taught freestyle frisbee, guitar, and tennis in addition to English. I like to see children's eyes light up when I tell them a true event that happened to me. And I love to hear their stories and get taken in by their excitement. With college students, I like to hear their life plans, what they will study in university, what countries they may live in, and what jobs they hope to land. With adult professionals, I find it interesting to hear what they do for a living, how long they've been doing it, and where they hope to be 10 years from now.

I like to begin my lessons with ice breakers. For example, I may ask you if you heard about an interesting news article.
Or I may show you a piece of art and we can discuss it. This will last approximately 5 minutes. Then we will review the homework I gave you. The remainder of the lesson will be a new English topic. We will discuss it and do some exercises. Homework will be assigned a few minutes before the lesson is over. Every lesson is tailored to your needs.
