About Amelie
Hi! My name is Amelie, I’m originally from England and have experience doing English tutoring in the UK at GCSE level - I had such fun helping students build confidence in their reading, writing, and analytical skills, so I wanted to do the same in New Zealand! I understand that everyone learns differently, so I focus on creating a relaxed and encouraging environment where students can ask questions and improve at their own pace, as well as getting to know the student and what works best for them. My lessons focus on building confidence in reading, writing, and analytical skills, whether students need help with essays, exam preparation, or general schoolwork. I understand that everyone works at a different pace and with different styles and needs, and I will always take the patience to make sure my student is comfortable and understands the lesson.
Lessons are can be online, which allows flexible scheduling, but I can also travel for in person tutoring depending on location.
