About Ashley
I am a published poet and aspire to be a published novelist. I never give up on a project or student. Professionally, I am laid back. Pressure has never helped me achieve an educational goal.
I have my BA in English and Creative Writing. I also have an MFA in Creative and Professional Writing. Both degrees were earned at Southern New Hampshire University. I have experience working with students from all walks of life. I also believe that every student can do whatever they put their minds to.
Lessons are always tailored to the student. Every goal met will be celebrated. Happiness is a necessary celebration for not just the student, but the family and educator as well!

I personalize every lesson to the student. No one learns the same way, so this is a vital way to help the student maximize their experience. My typical lesson plans begin with an explanation of what is being covered, then meeting the student where they are. I teach memory tricks, and visual cues the student can use while in school.
My lessons are best suited for children in fourth grade to undergraduate in college. I will happily accept help from parents and professors/teachers in order to make the material being taught seamless and practical. Many disciplines can be taught concurrently, and can be memorized in several different ways.
