About Kevin
I attended the University at Buffalo, earning a Bachelor's in Mathematics in just three years and a Master's in Education in one. I graduated Magna Cum Laude (with great distinction). Since then I've taught everything under the sun — even developing my own Intro to Computer Science course. I have also recently completed the New York State Master Teacher Program, when I spent 50 hours per year studying emerging trends, applications, and best practices in math, science, tech, and education on topics such as — Artificial Intelligence & Machine Learning, Physical and Mental Health & The Gut Microbiome, Criterion-based Assessment & Mastery Grading, Black Holes & Dark Energy, Building Thinking Classrooms, The Mathematics of Gerrymandering, Graph Theory & Logistics, Genomics, Evolution & DNA. I have never sat down with a student who really wanted to learn something and failed to find a way for them to understand it. When there's a will, there's a way. I have been teaching math for 14 years and have developed and researched countless methods and strategies for helping students master challenging material.
