About Risa
I am a current undergraduate first-year student enrolled at New York University, majoring in Global Liberal Studies. I have approximately three years of experience in individual and group tutoring during high school, when I was a mentor in various peer mentorship and honor society programs. I also have certifications in advanced English studies via the College Board AP English exams and the Eiken English Test Grade 1 (in Japan).

My teaching method is catered to every student's specific needs. I will first analyze what skills a student excels at and what areas of study/skills needs to be improved upon. Then, I arrange my teaching material and approach to accommodate every student's situation, on an individual basis, in order to help them reach each of their unique goals in academia.
